It’s THORsday!

My family and I attended an early screening a few days ago and let me tell you… it was the best Marvel movie yet! You will be laughing from the start! Seriously, friend, this is easily THE funniest Marvel movie to date! Yes, Thor is my favorite Marvel character, but even my husband said that this had him laughing more than Dr. Strange.

In THOR:RAGNAROK, we get to see a lot more of Norse mythology and to my personal joy, NORWAY! We also get the pleasure of seeing multiple Avengers in this film. You know about Hulk but you will see others and it is an awesome cast! I loved the women power message also.  Girls and Women everywhere are going to love the leading ladies in this movie and their POWERFUL roles.

Characters:

THOR is remarkable once again. He is hilarious, lovable and determined.

So seeing Thor’s new hairstyle, the scene when Thor gets his haircut (it’s not bad) is what disturbed my son from the movie when we asked my kids what they didn’t like from the movie. Too cute, right? He has long hair like Thor did. 

LOKI is the brother you love and fight with at times.

HULK is the big guy who still loves to SMASH all the things.

VALKYRIE is a new leading lady who is fierce and strong-willed with a deep history. My daughter loved her!

HELA is one of the new characters we are introduced to. We learn that she draws her strength from Asgard.

Can your Wilderness Explorers see this movie?

My kids are 10 and 8 years old and they both watched this film with no issues. They both scare easily and had no issues with this movie. There is the usual intense Villain character you can expect in a Marvel film, but I put the picture above for you. If you think you may need to show them the “fire” character before seeing the movie, please use my picture. Also, let them know that Hela is an intense female Villain.

I do think children 8 and older can see this movie. I did see some kids a little younger in theater though and didn’t hear any signs of fear in the theater, only lots of laughter. But please use your judgement and watch all my videos posted.

So, did I give THOR: RAGNAROK 5 out of 5 balloons?

I certainly did! We cannot wait to go see THOR: RAGNAROK again tomorrow! This film is gorgeous, funny and will have you on the edge of your seat at times. The cinematography is stunning! It will make you want to study the cosmos.
