Frozen 2 adventure

ABOUT THE MOVIE:

“Why was Elsa born with magical powers? What truths about the past await Elsa as she ventures into the unknown to the enchanted forests and dark seas beyond Arendelle? The answers are calling her but also threatening her kingdom. Together with Anna, Kristoff, Olaf and Sven, she’ll face a dangerous but remarkable journey. In “Frozen,” Elsa feared her powers were too much for the world. In “Frozen 2,” she must hope they are enough. From the Academy Award®-winning team—directors Jennifer Lee and Chris Buck, producer Peter Del Vecho and songwriters Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez—and featuring the voices of Idina Menzel, Kristen Bell, Jonathan Groff and Josh Gad, Walt Disney Animation Studios’ “Frozen 2” opens in U.S. theaters on Nov. 22, 2019.”

WHAT TO EXPECT:

Frozen 2 is a story about answers. Many of us fans had questions after watching Frozen, and Frozen 2 will give you closure. This movie is packed with laughs, because, Olaf. Tons of adventure, Elsa needs to find an answer and we already know she has one of the best sisters ever, so you can assume, she’ll be be a part of it in some way. And, it’s a Disney movie, so music – the music is spectacular – it has a few of my all-time favorite scenes. Disney also pulls through with love and heart… I cried a couple times.

One of the main questions I get when people hear I screened Frozen 2, is if Elsa finds love. I can tell you that it’s not in the way that you’re thinking… in a partner way. You most likely will be happy for Elsa’s outcome.

We do find answers and closure to our aching hearts when it comes to Anna and Elsa’s parents. All the conspiracy theories out there can finally be laid to rest, the sisters great adventure will help everyone close that chapter.

Expect to learn some valuable lessons about judgement, embracing tight onto the ones you love, some people aren’t comfortable playing all the games, and even when things are hard, take the next step towards the light into the unknown and know things won’t be the same. The messages in Frozen 2 are powerful and beautiful; the songs composed to share these messages are absolutely breathtaking, especially ‘Into the Unknown’.

Anticipate stunning cinematography and new characters that will stun your mind with their creativity. I nearly clapped with the joy that my mind and heart felt during the ocean scene with Elsa, I instead chose to hold my heart to help my physical emotions from bursting.

“Show yourself, I’m ready to learn!” – Elsa

WHAT I LOVED:

I loved seeing Kristoff and Sven’s characters get much more developed in Frozen 2. They both share one of my favorite scenes and song. I feel like most people my age will share this sentiment.

Again Disney shows us strong independent women deciding what path they need to take, showing us how they come to their decisions, how it will affect them and others. If they are scared or not, but not giving up.

I appreciated how this movie addressed darkness, specifically feeling darkness and how to keep moving forward even through grief. Sadness is real emotion that so many people struggle with and sometimes, we need a reminder of how to keep moving forward: one step forward, one breathe at a time, one more step forward. Even when things have changed, keep breathing and just do the next right thing. It was such a good message!!!

CAN YOUR LITTLE WILDERNESS EXPLORERS SEE THIS MOVIE:

I’m such a huge Frozen fan and so are our kids. Frozen 2 has a couple scenes that could be shocking for little ones for a little time as the storyline is developing. Little Wilderness Explorers could get upset during this time as big fans. There’s also BIG Giants but I didn’t think they were too scary. I suggest taking young kids during daytime showing so if you have to lean over to whisper to them to just keep watching and pat their knee and then hold their hand, I think they should be fine. But again, if you’re at all concerned, screen this before taking a sensitive soul.

Little kids are going to love Frozen 2! The laughs, the songs, the sisters! Plus, Olaf has SO much more to say.

SO, DID I GIVE 5 OUT OF 5 BALLOONS:

Yes, 5 AQUA balloons, I LOVED it! I’m ready to see it again with my North-Star love.

Frozen 2 hits theaters Nov. 22nd!

Stay until the very end, there’s a cute scene!
