This scene, folks, gave me chills… it also made me want to hop in a car a head off and explore somewhere we haven’t explored before. Or go on a hike this weekend.
If you are planning on visiting Salt Lake City now until June 6th then I encourage you to buy tickets to the show, Cavalia ODYSSEO. Why? This show is like no other. This will take your soul on a calming journey into a wonderful of laughter, joy, and awe throughout the night. Your spirit will be oohed and mind will be challenged as you watch 65 horses and 45 Artists performing mind-blowing acrobatic feats that cause one to hold their breath during the act.

During the show, the music captivates your soul. The acrobats are beyond talented. The horses, oh the horses, all 65 of them are stunning and so talented. I was posting LIVE videos on our Facebook Page here, ride on over to watch to watch their awesomeness. We had some rogue horses during the night but that made it kind of cute and even special to watch the Artists kindly, gently, and quickly get them back into the program. How smart are they?!? In fact after the show I had the opportunity to interview three of the Artists and they told me that they speak to the horses in 6 different languages and use different cues to communicate with them. Horses are AMAZING!

So is the VIP Experience at Cavalia ODYSSEO worth the money? In my opinion, yes (especially if you drink adult beverages). We enjoyed the buffet dinner options, the drinks, the popcorn (the littles couldn’t get enough), and all the fun desserts. The buffet dinner has a large selection of food choices (I did hear rumblings of people saying they didn’t think it was kid-friendly, I do have to agree, but they did have chicken & pasta and of course there’s the popcorn). I did enjoy the selection of different meats and salad options. My daughter loved the pasta.
The dessert bar was delicious between Act One and Act Two. You did need to rush and get in line for that though. There’s no time for chit chat if you want to enjoy desserts. You will be able to get more drinks or coffee during this time as well. (You can get your drinks in to-go cups for the show also. Just be sure to ask your server for a to-go cup before Act One and Act Two.)
However, I do want to say that I think you can enjoy Cavalia in almost any seat in the WHITE BIG TOP because the tent is surprisingly intimate so you shouldn’t feel pressure to spend the money on the VIP experience if that’s not in your budget. We will most likely go back ourselves and sit in the upper seats and experience “all the feels” again that this show has to offer.
