It’s not just a photoshoot — it’s a page from your very own Adventure Book.

From the iconic chairs and mantle to the cheerful mural above Paradise Falls, every detail invites you to pause, pose, and feel the magic. Combo Indoor + Outdoor sessions are limited, but unforgettable — just like the couple who inspired it.

Outdoor Photoshoot – starting at $60

You have up to 30 minutes to take pictures with our house as your backdrop. You will have access to our front grass area, front steps, porch, hose reel, squirrel props, and the gate may be open or closed during your 30-minute reservation.

Still photos only, does not include filming.

Combo Indoor | Outdoor Photoshoot – starting at $400

You begin your 30-minute reservation inside our replica UP house to take your photographs: Indoor + Outdoor.

The first 15 mins, you may take your photos in the Carl and Ellie front room – this is where you see the iconic chairs, Paradise Falls mural + mantle, old TV, and other tchotchkes from the movie. You will have access to the hall tree by the front door where Ellie would straighten Carl’s tie every day. (I suggest bringing multiple ties + bow ties for these photos.) You may also stand on the first 4 steps of the staircase, behind you are pictures of Carl and Ellie, just like in the movie.

The remaining 15 mins in your reservation will be out front to take pictures with our house as your backdrop. You will have access to our front grass area, front steps, porch, hose reel, squirrel props, and the gate door may be open or closed based on your preference.

Proposal Outdoor + Photoshoot – Email for price

You have up to 30 minutes to pop your question to your loved one and take pictures with our house as your backdrop. You will have access to our front grass area, front steps, porch, hose reel, squirrel props, and the gate may be open or closed during your 30-minute reservation.

You have options to propose by the rose arch on the north-side of our house, the porch, front steps, or porch chairs. You have lots of options to create a romantic Core Memory to put on a page in your Adventure Book.

Typically, in this type of occasion, you will want to record your experience. Because this is for photographs only, don’t forget to inquire about our Add-On Filming Price if you’d like to record this UNFORGETTABLE MOMENT!

Proposal Combo Indoor | Outdoor + Photoshoot – Email for price

Enchanting moments await – with the rose-arch, Carl & Ellie chairs inside, front steps, the Paradise Falls fireplace or by the squirrel – pick the spot where your ‘will you?’ takes center stage. You decide if you’ll propose inside or outside!

  • Booking: 50% non-refundable via Venmo; remainder due day before (by 8 AM MT).
  • Availability: Friday – Sunday (holiday weekends have premium rates).
  • Guests: Up to 5 (including photographer). Email to add more and for pricing.
  • Film add-on: Available – please email for Add-On Filming Price.
  • Props: BYO or rent (inquire for details).
  • House etiquette: This is our family home – respect our space, rules, and privacy.
  • Drones: Not allowed.
  • Pets: Must email for approval.
  • Decor: Seasonal touches remain – no rearranging, please.
  • Cancellation: No refunds within 24 hours.
  • Why it costs time & care: Cleaning, staging, hosting – this place is magic and our real-life home.

Stepping into the UP House is even more magical when you dress the part! Whether you’re channeling Ellie’s spirit, Carl’s charm, a Wilderness Explorer like Russell, or DisneyBounding as Dug, we’ve gathered the perfect outfit and prop ideas to bring your story to life.

Parking is available across the street. We suggest purchasing balloons for your opportunity. However, please allow yourself an additional 20-30 minutes prior to your session to get them.

All reservations are scheduled: Late arrivals for your reservation will result in a reduced photoshoot time. Please plan accordingly.

 

Keep in mind, this is a private residence, respect for our home and family is expected. Any behavior during your photo opportunity deemed inappropriate or not family-friendly, you will be asked to leave promptly, without refund.

It takes a lot of work to keep the magic up and maintain the property. For a session, we have to fully clean, sanitize (before & after), rearrange home items (indoors), and adjust our family’s schedule. All of this takes a lot of work, time, and effort. Making this magic happen, brings us joy and we hope you feel it too! Thank you for appreciating and understanding this.

Media Promotion/Collaboration

Photos are for personal use only. To use our UP House for any marketing, media, business use and/or for any product endorsement, please head here first.

FINE PRINT

Photoshoot pricing reflects up to 5 visitors, including photographer. Larger parties may result in a rate increase and must be discussed with owners through email prior to securing reservation. The attending guest party may not change during an opportunity.
Drones are not permitted. This is a private residence.
Photoshoot pricing and options are for photograph-only sessions and for personal use only. No video filming is allowed during these sessions unless you have made a reservation for Filming; this type of reservation is an additional fee. Business and/or product promotion is a separate Media Rate; a contract must signed first before proceeding with any promotional use of our UP house.Any cancellation within a 24 hour period from your session will not be refunded.
In addition, seasonal decorations will not be removed. Home or garden decor/sign items will not be removed. Please do not move any items.
No pets allowed on property unless discussed with owners through email prior to appointment.
All props must be approved prior to reservation. You may also rent props from us; please contact us for props available & fee.
Please do not let your little Wilderness Explorers stand or play on the fence, gate or pick any flowers. We want our property to bring happiness for years.
Lynette (or a representative) is present on property during all photoshoots to make sure all rules are followed. All guests are under 24 hours surveillance supervision. Any violation of rules or contract broken will result in a fine and/ further fees to guests.
No bags are allowed inside our home, please leave them in a secured vehicle.
To be clear, visitors are responsible for any damage done to the property. The Real UP House and/or its Owners assumes no liability for loss, theft, or damage to equipment brought by guests.
We are a family friendly site and home, any questionable behavior will result in the visitor(s) and/or photographer being told to leave our property without refund.
